Elliott Paul Frank O'Neal, 38, of Cincinnati passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023.
He was born December 7, 1984, the son of Dr. Emmett Eugene and Maggie Jewel O'Neal.
Elliott was a kind and warm person with the ability to make friends with anyone; he definitely had the Terry (father's side) sales gene. Growing up, he enjoyed deep sea fishing on the Gulf Coast and Alaska with his father and brother. He also relished learning about as many things as he could; he was always researching new topics and ideas that had not yet been fully explored. Elliott liked to golf with friends in his spare time and he was always making new additions to his cherished sneaker collection. He loved pointing out his latest pair of sneakers when he entered a room.
He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews, I know that they saw him like a fun, big brother who was there to provide advice when needed. Elliott spent a lot of time with his parents, especially being there to help throughout his father's terminal illness. And after his father's passing he remained a constant presence by his mother's side: stopping by daily, helping her with household tasks, and having long talks about various subjects.
Elliott loved his little pug, Tiva, who is now in the care of his mother. Tiva spent a lot of time by his side and making everyone smile.
Elliott graduated from Purcell Marian High School and then went on to study at Fisk University (where he played soccer and baseball), before graduating from Northern Kentucky University with a B.A. in History and a minor in Geology.
Elliott is survived by his mother Maggie Jewel O'Neal and his siblings: Jennifer (husband, Paul) Harris, Emmett (wife, Jennifer) O'Neal III, and Jean Marie (husband, Corey) Coxe; and by his nieces, Maggie and Mia Douga, and his nephews, Emmett and Christopher O'Neal. As well as many other relatives.
We will miss Elliott's big smile, endless curiosity, and loving spirit. We hope that in the afterlife he finds peace and the answers he has always searched for about the secrets of the universe. We take solace in the fact that he is now with his father.
Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
