Emmy Hansen née: Bach was born June 4, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Grandview High School in 1942. She attended Ohio State University's school of nursing. She moved to Washington D C to work for the FBI. That is where she met her husband Quentin Hansen. They married on Aug 4, 1945 at First Community Church in Columbus, Ohio.
After several moves with the FBI they settled in Cincinnati Ohio with their 4 children.
Emmy enjoyed playing bridge with the FBI wife's club, going to her children's events. She loved all sports especially the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State. She enjoyed going to the Cincinnati Symphony and reading. She worked part-time at the Finneytown High School after her children were grown. She and her husband were members of the Northminister Presbyterian Church since 1957.
Emmy is survived by her 4 children, Krista (Keith) Smillie (Ann Arbor, MI) Karen (Frank) Beierlein (Foley, AL) Fred (Beth) Hansen (Perrysville, OH) and Kevin Hansen (Cincinnati, OH), 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Emmy was preceded in death by her husband Quentin, her parents Edward and Dorthea (Shull) Bach and brother, Richard Bach.
