Eric Paul Hatfield passed peacefully on September 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Jean and Paul Hatfield and survived by his wife Linda and children; Matthew Hatfield, Elizabeth Moore, Nick Hatfield, Kelsey Wolfe, BrandonHatfield, Amanda Dawson, and Zachary Wolfe, and his brother Neil Hatfield and sister Gretchen Hatfield.
Eric was a bright chemical engineer who graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's in chemical engineering. He later graduated from Keller Graduate School of Management with an MBA. Eric worked in polymers, coatings, films, insection, and blown extrusion processing. He also has 4 US patents in his name.
He was deeply loved by his family; including his sister-in-law Laura Null and her family, his blended family including the grandchildren; Kaylee, Kaleb, Wade, Hayden, Ruby, Hazel- they loved their grandpa!
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our Eric. He was an amazing man, with a heart of gold. He leaves behind a BIG family and friends who cherished and loved him. His wife Linda called him her "Knight in Shining Armor" her protector, her friend, her lover, her love. He leaves behind his blended family who loved him immensely, and all his grandchildren who called him Grampie. He was loved dearly by his family and will forever be remembered as the man we all loved.
Rest in Peace Eric, You'll be so very missed.
