Estelle was born on September 30th, 1925 in Fort Gaines, GA to Annie Bennett-Jackson and Bennie Jackson. She went home to be with the Lord on October 15th, 2019. Estelle was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Mildred Jackson, Vernice Jackson, and Willie Mae Hall and her son; Michael Tucker.
Estelle accepted her Lord and savior Jesus Christ at an early age. She was baptized at New Hope Methodist Church in Fort Gaines, Ga. She later relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio where she married Jonnie B. Tucker in 1960. To this union one child was born, Michael D. Tucker Sr. She joined Beulah Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Martin in 1978.
Being true to her faith, she was very active in the church as a member of the In-Reach/Out-Reach Ministry, Vacation Bible School, and Senior Ministry.
She graduated from public school in 1944 . She was employed with Fort Gaines Public Schools and retired from the hotel industry.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Three siblings: Eva Mae Canty (Joseph), Bennie Jackson (Mary), and Herman "Bud" Jackson; three grandchildren: Deborah Dowell, Carissa and Michael Jr. Six great-grandchildren: Porsha Dowell, Alfred Williams, Starr Mosley, Jonathan Mosley, Travis Tucker, and Christopher Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Not to be forgotten are her close friends Valorie Jackson of Newark, NJ and John Hennings (Lucille) of Cincinnati, OH.
She is gone, but will never be forgotten; she will be missed but always appreciated.
