Hobbs-Parks, Etta Louise age 76, of Springfield Township (Cincinnati), Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. She was born in Pewee Valley, Kentucky on July 5, 1940 to Jim Johnson and Pearl Ritchie (nee Hinkle).
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Johnson; mother, Pearl Ritchie; daughter, Jonae M. Berry; siblings, Louis Ritchie, Jr., Floyd Ritchie, Donnie Ritchie, Laverne Brown, Dorothy Moore. Etta is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Thomas Parks; children, Kathy R. (Robert) Watts, Joseph A. (Deborah) Hobbs, Tara Williams; grandchildren, Robert (Chevaness) Watts, Taylor (Tracy) Watts, Giovanna Watts, Ebony Rutherford, Angel Hobbs, Destiny Hobbs, Maigan Berry; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Shirley) Ritchie, Frank (Margaret) Jordon, Arthur (Ruth) Ritchie, Willie (Valerie) Ritchie, Barbara Jean Turner, Betty Ann Ritchie; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Etta, contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati Inc., c/o Bethesda Foundation, Inc. Cincinnati, Ohio 45263-3597. Funeral Ceremony will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 with a Gathering from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
