Eugene Paul Fryman

May 13, 1985 — December 17, 2022

Eugene Paul Fryman, 37, of Burlington, KY passed away after a long battle with addiction Saturday, December 17, 2022. Eugene never wanted to be defined by his addiction or its vicious cycle. He would want his battle and story to help others overcome their addiction.

Eugene was born May 13, 1985, to Eugene and Rita Fryman. He was the youngest of their four children. Eugene was soft hearted, he loved and felt deeply for his friends and family. He had a kind soul that did not know a stranger. He made friends easily and was always willing to help friends and family. Eugene grew up on his family farm near Rabbit Hash, KY. Growing up he was an active 4-H and FFA member and loved showing cattle, sheep and pigs. Into adulthood he continued to raise cattle, sheep and pigs with his family. He was passionate about raising and showing livestock and often would talk at length about it with his sisters. Eugene enjoyed supporting and watching his nephews and nieces at youth livestock shows. Eugene also enjoyed fishing in his spare time and loved to take his nephews and nieces when he got the chance. He had a kind heart for animals and especially loved beagles.
Eugene was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Gladys Fryman, and his maternal grandparents Thomas Palmer and Mary Alice Moore.

Eugene leaves behind his parents, Eugene B. and Rita Fryman, of Burlington, KY, his brother Christopher Fryman, of Rabbit Hash, KY, sister Ellie (Paul) Gripshover, of Auburn, KY, sister Daisy (Monroe) Bailey of Cox's Mills, WV, his nieces and nephews; Oliver, Amelia and Owen Gripshover, and Wyatt and Nora Beth Bailey, cousin Dennis (Shannon) Foltz of, Jarvisburg, NC, and their children Riley and Greyson, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family deeply mourns his passing and hopes that they may find peace in knowing that he no longer has to fight the demons of addiction. The family wants to urge individuals with addiction to seek help. Individuals seeking help for their addiction can reach out to the Northern Kentucky Helpline, 859-415-9280.

A Celebration of Eugene's Life is to take place at the Rabbit Hash Barn on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend.
