Eugene Douglas Marker

Eugene Douglas Marker, aged 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on August 16 2024. Born on February 25, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was the beloved son of John and Sudie Belle Marker (née Calvert).

Eugene was preceded in death by his cherished spouse, Vera Evangeline Marker, as well as his parents. He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters Catherine Bentz, Linda Miller, Jennifer Flores, and Laura Johnson. His memory will also be honored by his grandchildren: Leila Johnson, Samantha Miller, Megan Williams, Jessica Berding, Thomas Miller Jr., Glostora "Trey"  Flores III, Alex Bentz, Jordan El-Halim  as well as great-grandchildren, Hazel Berding, Hunter Berding, Harper Berding,  Kayla Carlton, Roman El-Halim,  Caroline El-Halim, Adeline Bentz-Becker, Theodore Bentz-Becker,  great great grandchildren, Levi Carlton, Mason Carlton,  along with a host of extended family members and friends.

Dad loved time spent on his porch swing and listening to the church bells. He loved his wife of 69 years, family friends and Buddy. He was a devout servant of the Lord and loved helping others. He loved his grandkids and knew life was always better with a Klondike Bar.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 23, 2024, with a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westwood United Methodist Church, located at 3460 Epworth Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will be at Baltimore Pike Cemetery.
