Funeral service for Eula Mae Everson, age 80 of Cincinnati, will be Friday, Oct 07, 2011 at 11 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct 07, 2011 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel.

Eula Mae Everson was born on July 4, 1931 to Girtha Hill and Lee Facen in Midway, Alabama. As a child in Midway, she accepted Christ's promise and united with the Great Hope AME Church. Later she united with the St. John AME Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. She went home to Glory on September 28, 2011 in Cincinnati where she had made her home for many years.

Eula earned her living as a housekeeper in private homes. She was an excellent cook and was often asked to prepare her special dishes as well as various cakes. Eula was an Elk for 42 years and a founding member of the Laura G. Powell Temple #1220 in Madisonville.

Eula was a loving mother of one child, her son Ernest Lee (Bonnie) Hill of Cincinnati, OH. She in return received a full measure of love, care and devotion. Also surviving are sisters, Stella Howard of Omaha, NE, Lois Facen of Midway, AL, and Mattie Mae Cobb (Jeff) of Haines City, FL; brother, Willie D. Facen (Sammie Lee) of Philadelphia, PA; sister-in-law, Marie Hill of Laughman, FL; grandsons, Darryl (Stephanie) Tillman, Jeff Hill of Cincinnati, OH, and Larry (Tanya) Hill of Lafayette, IN; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Bedgood, Keven Tillman, Xaaliyah Hill; great-great grandchild, Trenton Roundtree, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
