An angel gained her wings when Eva Marie O'Rourke (nee Marcum), 53, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in Elmwood Place.
Eva is survived by her sons, Daniel and Jacob, her sisters Cecilia (Mark) Hansel, Juanita (Richard) Webster, Cathy (Brian) Turner, her brother Randy Marcum, and James "Jay" O'Rourke, her ex-husband and the father of her children, as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death, by her son, James O'Rourke, and her parents, Maudie and Gerald Faulkner.
Eva loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, the Reds and NASCAR, and enjoyed all types of music, especially country and rock and roll.
She reveled in outdoor activities, especially fishing, and cherished the time spent with family and friends. She was a pet lover and never met a stranger.
A private memorial service will take place for family and a few close friends at a site to be determined.
