Evelyn Souder

Evelyn Souder, age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 19, 1944 to Wilbur and Nettie Massie (nee Henkle).

Evelyn was a member of the Aurora Indiana Eagles. She was an avid gardener, and great cook. Evelyn was loved by everyone, and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Massie; father, Wilbur Massie; brother-in-law, Dave Souders.

Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Leon Souder; son, Scott (Tina) Holsapple; daughter, Susan (Tim) Yockey; grandchildren, Greg (Shannon) Warren, Jessica (Matt) Lemon, Brian Yockey, and Caitlyn Holsapple; great-grandchild, Miranda Warren, Suzanne Lemon, Quinnton Lemon, and Jordan Warren; brother, Ronnie Massie; sisters, Ginny (Millard) VanHoose, and Connie (Mike) Sowers; sisters-in-law, Arlene (Terry) Metz, and Linda (Donny Waters) Young; and a host of other family members and friends.

There will be a private family celebration of life in the future.
