Fausto Ferrari

Ferrari, Fausto, age 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was born in Fuscaldo, Italy on September 3, 1927 to the late Francesco and Franceschina Ferrari (nee Giglio).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maddalena (Lena) Ferrari (nee Allevato), siblings, Concettina, Maria, Mammina, Jean, Raffaela and Vincenzo (Emilio), niece, Emily Ferarri and great-nephew, Francesco (Frankie) Ferrari. Fausto is survived by his beloved nephews and nieces, Francesco, Francesca, Fausto (Olivia) and Gina Ferrari and Raffaela (Mark) Romito; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Fausto came to the US in 1957 where he started Fausto Ferrari Barber Shop on Garfield Place. His late brother, Vincenzo (Emilio) joined him in 1969. He was a long time resident of Clifton and member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He enjoyed family, music, gardening and loved Italian food. Although he never had children of his own, he treated his nieces and nephews as his children. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Zio Fausto will be missed by his "children" and we will always carry his memory in our hearts.

In loving memory of Fausto, contributions may be made to American Lung Society. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at Annunciation Catholic Church 3547 Clifton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220. Interment will follow immediately after at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard.
