Florence L. Luther

LUTHER, Florence L. of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 10, 1941 to Coley and Nozzie-Belle Luther (nee Lewis).

Florence was educated within the Cincinnati Public Schools and completed her education at Taft High School.
Florence was a loyal employee for the University of Cincinnati; she retired after 22 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cumminsville until she became ill.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Coley Luther Sr. and Nozzie-Belle Luther; her son, Gary L. Luther Sr.; her brothers, Robert Luther, Donald Luther; and her sisters, Mary Miller, Emma Mayo.
Florence is survived by her beloved children, William Junior Luther, Andre Luther, Martin A. Luther, Steven L. Luther, and Scottie D. Luther; one aunt, Cora Cruze; three sisters, Virgie Collins, Ruthann Luther, Dorothy Luther; one brother, Coley Luther Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.


Funeral Ceremony will be 7:00 pm Monday, May 11, 2015 with a visitation from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Cumminsville, 3640 Roll Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223.
