Floyd Barnett

BARNETT, Floyd age 88, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on April 2, 1928 to Aaron and Crystal Barnett (nee Daniel).
Floyd retired from the Kroger Company, and was a Navy Veteran. He was a life member of the VFW Post 8696 in Palm Coast, FL. Floyd was a long-time contributor to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. He loved to travel and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dorothy, Evelyn, Stanley, Edward, Michael. Floyd is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Martha Barnett (nee Langenecker); children, Sheila Saalfeld, David (Teresa) Barnett, Judy (Mark Cox) Odell; grandchildren, Katherine Barnett, Travis Pollard, Kyle (Ariel) Barnett, Sarah Saalfeld; siblings, Henry, Marilyn, Patricia; and a host of other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Funeral Ceremony will be at 12:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2017 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
