Floyd Bruce Jefferson

JEFFERSON, Floyd Bruce age 95, of Springfield Township, passed away Friday December 13, 2013. He was born September 13, 1918 in Morning Sun, Ohio, the son of Allen and Mary (Bruce) Jefferson. He was a graduate of Stewart High School in Oxford. On January 16, 1977 he married Christene Woods, of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mary Jefferson; his siblings, Raymond Jefferson, Mary Elizabeth Sims, Florence Moore, Allene Corbin, Laura Ellen Johnson, and Arthur Jefferson; his first wife, Madelyn Jefferson; his daughter, Cheryl Jefferson-Foreman.

Floyd is survived by his wife Christine Jefferson; his children, Michael and his wife Harriet Jefferson, Jean Jefferson, Sonja and her husband Ashok Ahuja, Sheila and her husband Stephen Anderson, Delois Jean Woods, JoAnn and her late husband Lougene West, and Marilyn and her husband Larry Brown.

Floyd was a longtime employee and a retiree of FORD MOTOR COMPANY. He loved a variety of foods with ice cream, okra, and all types of melons among his favorites. He always kept a beautiful smile on his face.

Floyd will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him!
