Frederick William Jansen, III, age 88, of Saint Bernard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 21, 1931 to Frederick W. and Doris Jansen (nee Pierce).
Fred was a Veteran of the United States Army, and served during the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the St. Bernard Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind Jansen (nee Engel); parents, Frederick W. Jansen, Doris Jansen (nee Pierce), and step-mother, Margaret Jansen; and several step-brothers and step-sisters.
Frederick is survived by his beloved sons, William (Karen Bellanger) Jansen, and Frederick W. Jansen, IV; grandchildren, Lacey, Jessica, Frederick , V., Joshua, and Katie; great-grandchildren, MaKena and Ridlee; several step-sisters; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Frederick, contributions may be made to the St. Bernard Eagles.
Family and friends may gather on Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Clements Catholic Church, 4536 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45217, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at the church at 11:00AM with Fr. E.J. Stein, OFM. officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 701 E Ross Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45217.
