Frederick "Fred "G. Siska

Frederick "Fred" G. Siska, age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 20,2024. He was born on October 15, 1942, in Cincinnati to Fred and Ida Siska (nee Kannenberg).

Fred was preceded in death by his beloved father, Fred Siska; his mother, Ida Siska; his son, Frederick Siska, Jr.; as well as his siblings: Herbert Siska, Lillian White, Norbert Siska, and Ervin Siska. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Siska (nee Von Luehrte); his daughter, Melody Siska; son Matthew (Gina) Siska; daughter Kelly (Nick) Imholte; and grandchildren Cameron Siska, Olivia McGuire, Kaiden Pate, and Lillian Imholte. Fred also leaves behind his sister, Edelgard (John) Schilling, brother, Werner (Janet) Siska, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Throughout his life, Fred enjoyed a variety of activities that brought him joy. These included playing cards, doting over his family, cooking, gardening, and tinkering in the garage. If he couldn’t be found in one of those places, he would likely be found wheeling and dealing at yard sales, thrift/antique shops, flea markets, or even better, at the “boat.” If he was in any of these places, you knew he was always “good, good, good!”

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
