Gail Patman

August 3, 1949 — February 19, 2017

Gail Patman 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio was called home to rest on February 19, 2017. She passed peacefully at home after a long battle with diabetes. Gail was born on August 3, 1949 to the late Roy Patman Jr. and Dorthy Mae Greggs. She graduated from Withrow High School and shortly thereafter pursued her passion in helping at risk children within Hamilton County through the Light House Youth Service.

As a remarkable woman, Gail raised not only her children, nieces and nephews; she also raised young ladies from the youth service and a host of people throughout the downtown community. She was always a woman of help whether it was cooking, feeding people, or just offering a listening ear. Everyone who came into contact with her built a personal relationship. Gail was full of life and was always displaying guidance and a positive attitude. Through it all, she always kept a smile with open arms.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Greggs. She is survived by her children, Victoria (Mario), Antonio (Kyedra), and Antionette Patman; eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Barry (Mamie); sister, Sandy Sidne; nieces and nephews; and a host of foster children and close friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home West Side Chapel on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
