Hatter, Garry R. age 75, of Ludlow, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 14, 1947 to the late Delmar Ray and Beatrice Marie Hatter (nee Singleton).
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Norma L. Soard, step-daughter, Anita Goodpaster, step-son, Billy Goodpaster, Sr., granddaughters, Jennie G. Hatter and Chelsea M. Hatter, 5 siblings, and his identical twin brother, Larry J. Hatter. Garry is survived by his beloved wife, Linda C. Hatter (nee Brown); children, Garry R. (Karen) Hatter, Jr., David (Tracy) Hatter and Jeff T. (Angie) Hatter, Sr.; grandchildren, Alyssa R. (Joe) Eastwood, Jacob S. (Chelsea) Hatter, William (Abby) Underwood, Katie Underwood, Bethany Hatter, Michael Hatter, Amber (Ben) Hatter, Amanda G. Hatter, Austin Hammons, Jeff T. (Autumn) Hatter, Jr., Taylor (Jeremy) Hatter, Heather R. Hatter; step-grandchildren, Jamie Deaton, Billy Goodpaster, Jr., Gabe Goodpaster, Jordan Goodpaster and Aspen Goodpaster, 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Garry was retired from the railroad, where he was a president of BLE Union 564. He also served as the president and captain of Ludlow Fire Department for 27 years. He was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. Garry was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
