Gary M. Foerstel, age 72, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 22, 1950 to Melvin Foerstel and Audrey Foerstel (nee Timmerman).
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Bruce Colwell. Gary is survived by his sisters, Darlene (Leroy) Baldock and Sharon (the late Delmer) Colwell; nieces and nephews, Jeff Baldock, Tim (Mindy) Baldock, Holly Baldock, Tammy (Randy) Mattlen, Barb (Tony) Richmond; and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Gary enjoyed watching baseball games, especially the Cincinnati Reds. He liked traveling and going fishing.
Memorial Service will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2022 with a visitation from 10 am until the time of the service at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45231. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Old Cemetery, 3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205. In loving memory of Gary, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 4540 Cooper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
