Gary Ford, born on February 27, 1952, in Covington, Kentucky, peacefully departed from this life on March 19, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was 73 years old. Gary was a devoted parishioner at Mary Queen of Heaven in Erlanger, where he found community and faith that enriched his life.
In his youth, he found joy in fishing and bowling, pursuits that brought him both relaxation and camaraderie. He also harbored a passion for horse racing, often finding excitement in placing friendly bets.
He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Timothy) Hill and Heather (John) Martin, along with his cherished grandchildren, Madalyn Ford, Ellie Hill, Kole Hill, Emilynn Martin, and John Martin, Jr. Gary’s former spouse and mother of his children, Gigi Ford, along with his sister, Linda Burns, also remain to honor his memory. Additionally, he leaves behind his long-time companion, Maryann King, and a host of other family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Howard Albert Ford, his mother, Rosemary Ford (nee Malone), and his beloved daughter, Bridget Ford. He was also predeceased by his brother, Jimmy, and sister, Debbie.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation scheduled for March 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that will take place at 6:00 PM, both held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, Kentucky, 41018.
Gary Ford’s memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
Donations in Gary's name may be made in lieu of flowers to Parish Kitchen or Fairhaven Rescue Mission.
