Gary P. Jaycox, age 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 12, 1951 to Paul Jaycox and Zelpha Jaycox (nee Nichols).
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Jaycox. Gary is survived by his children, Lori (Jorge Velazquez) Jaycox, Sarah (Joe) Kidney and Adam (Robin) Jaycox; brother, Brian (Andra) Jaycox; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Gary was professionally known for his experience as the Program Director for WAKWFM and WMOH. He also taught Videography at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting. In his athletic years, he enjoyed playing football and later watched a lot of sports. He was a big Bengals and Reds fan. Besides football, Gary played tennis, racquetball, and frisbee golf. He was a big promoter for Moo Duk Kwan, particulary Bob Harris of Hamilton, Ohio.
In loving memory of Gary, contributions may be made to Moo Duk Kwan Karate Temple, 429 S. 2nd Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 3 - 5 pm at Newcomer, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
