Gary Lee Lightner

GARY LEE LIGHTNER, age 77, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 16, 1944 to the late Bernard Wilson and the late Mendola "Mandy" Lightner (nee Link).

Gary is survived by his daughter, Shelley R (Mark) Finn and sons Gary Wanye Lightner and Brandon Lee (Cindy) Lightner. Proud grandfather of Danielle (Gabe) Zilliox, Dylan (Matt Dodd) Coyle, Logan Finn, Landon Finn, Dakota Finn, Lacey Finn and the late Nikki Lightner. Great-Grandfather of Oscar, Isaac and Isla. He is the brother of Robert J (Jeanette) Lightner, Dan (Barb) Lightner, John (Marcia) Lightner, Kellie Lightner, Brian (Leisa Hammons) Lightner, Kimberly (Roger Bishops) Lightner and the late Ronald Lightner. He leaves behind a host of other family members and friends.

Gary traveled the USA and Canada delivering recreational vehicles to the purchasers. He delivered pipes to the Canadian Oil fields. He had many other jobs and skills - "a jack of all trades".

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 4:30 PM until the funeral service at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, Ky (41018). Burial services will be private.
