Gayle Suzanne Bowling, aged 80, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 25 2024. Born on November 24, 1943, in Elmwood, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of George and Helen Young (nee Imwalle).
Gayle had a vibrant spirit and a deep passion for life. She found joy in playing tennis, biking, and engaging in games of Euchre. A devoted sports enthusiast, she loved watching various sporting events on television, bringing her love of sports into her home. Gayle relished spending time with family and friends, creating lasting memories during trips to Hilton Head.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Young; her husband, Conley Bowling; her brothers, George Young, Jerry Young, and Ron Young; her sister, Rietta Hill; and her former spouse, Dave Geis, Sr.
Gayle is lovingly remembered by her sons, David (Michele) Geis, Jr., Steven (Laura) Geis, and Gregory (Heather) Geis. She was a proud grandmother to David, Dawson, Maycee, Hannah, Alyssa, Jillian, Grayson, and Evan Geis. Gayle is also survived by a wide circle of family and friends who will miss her immensely.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a celebration of her life at 12:00 PM. This gathering will take place at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
