Wright, Gene A. age 64, of Cleves, Ohio formerly of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014. He was born on April 15, 1950 to the late Lawrence Wright and Pearl (Gibson) Hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Wright and Pearl Hunter. Gene is survived by his beloved first wife of twenty-seven years, Carolyn Wright; children, William Wright and Kim Hofer; grandchildren, William Wright Jr., Austin Hofer, and Zach Hofer; siblings, Lois Hafner, Brenda Garland, Dorothy Pope, Mary Sturgeon, and David Wright; and also his current wife of 10 years. Gene will be loved and cherished by a host of other relatives and friends.
He was employed by Gold Medal Products for forty-four years where he was known as GENO. Public visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 PM, Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Newcomer Funeral Home 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. In loving memory of Gene, contributions may be made to memorial of one's own choice.
