George Burbacher, age 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 25, 1949 to the late George and Theresa Burbacher (nee Trotta ).
George is the loving husband of Jennifer Burbacher (nee Eick) for 41 years.
He is the loving father of Mary Beth (Baron) Shirley, Christina Burbacher and Sara (Lawrence) Powers. He is the proud Pawpaw of Jeffrey, Samantha, Keller and Summer.
George is the devoted brother of Thomas (Jannelle Thompson) Burbacher and Patricia (Alfred Hall) Burbacher. He was the proud uncle of Jeffrey and Daniel Neugebauer, Robert and Brandon Rompies, Taylor Burbacher, Melissa, Dawn and David Markins. He leaves behind a host of friends.
Everyone in Cheviot knew George as the Owner of Cheviot News, stopping by for Lotto tickets, racing forms and conversation as if it were the neighborhood barber shop. Previous owner of Pasquales Pizza in Northbrook, known as the Mayor of Northbrook.
Due to Covid, George's family REQUESTS THAT VISITORS WEAR A MASK, in the funeral home and the church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday at St Jude Church, Bridgetown. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery-St Bernard,
In lieu of flowers, in memory of George, contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd, Cincinnati (45242) or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati (45242) or Buddy Walk for Downs Syndrome, 4623 Wesley Ave, Cincinnati (45212)
