Rub, George D. age 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati on August 12, 1932 to George A. and Fannie Rub (nee Cullen).
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Rub. George is survived by his daughters, Andrea (Jamie) Roark, and Carol (Cole) Rothbauer; and his son, Louis P. Rub; his grandchildren, Dean Dearwester, Becky Dearwester, Cody Rothbauer and Vince Roark; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of George, contributions may be made to VA Medical Center of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 11 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
