She was the child of Serena Nicole Samuels Joseph and James Henry Underwood.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Angel Joseph.
Gia is survived by her beloved mom, Serena Nicole Samuels Joseph; dad, James Henry Underwood, Jr.; gigi, Tonia Samuels; grandpa, Craig Joseph; grandma, Stephanie Franklin; great-grandma, Carolyn Samuels; aunts, Tiara Samuels, Taia Samuels, and Skyy Joseph; uncles, Terrell Samuels and Craig Joseph, Jr.; great-Aunt, Betty Baggett; and a host of other family members and friends.
