Gladys Acree, age 86, of Cincinnati, passed away on June 26, 2013.
She was born on January 24, 1927 to William and Amelia (Story) Meyer in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Gladys worked as a gift wrapper for Shillito's and as a candy maker for Lazarus Department Store.
On April 24, 1954, she married Earl D. Acree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Amelia Meyer; husband, Earl D. Acree; son, Doug Acree.
Gladys is survived by her children, Denise Hood, Pam (Van) Bryan, and David Acree; grandchildren, Amie (Gavin) Moore, Michelle Hood, Sheena Acree, Ryan Acree, Chris Jerger, and Stacy Bryan; great-grandchildren, Logan Shea, Alexus Moore, Gavin Moore Jr., Bryce Downey, Serenity Moore, and Bentley Acree; sisters, Dorothy Gilligan, and Sylvia (John) Frederick.
