LESTER, Glen F., age 93 of Cincinnati passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on June 27, 1921 the son of John and Lillie (Abner) Lester. Glen was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII. On June 25, 1954 he was married to Laura Saylor and she preceded him in death on January 2, 2013.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his daughter, Janey and her husband Vence Morehead; four sons, David, Daniel, Donald and Dale Lester; seven grandchildren, Bobby Lester and his wife Tamara, Daniel Lester II, Nicholas Lester and his wife Melanie, Jennifer Morehead, Ashley Savage, Sara Morehead, and Katie Lester ; one great-grandson, Maxwell Lester; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
