PALMER, Glenateen age 69 of Springfield Twp., formerly of Hazard, KY passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Wanda Wahl and Phyllis Buckhart, her aunt Muriel Mowery and her cousin Catherine Halcomb. She is survived her loving husband of 49 years, David Palmer, her son Brian Palmer of Cincinnati, her daughters Karen Palmer of Venice, FL and Vickie Palmer Georgetown, KY; daughter-in-law Teresa Palmer; grandchildren Brittany Palmer and Kelly Palmer; sister Shirley and her husband Mick Russo of Burlington, KY; nieces and nephews Toni and husband Eddie McGuire of Petersburg, KY, Michelle and husband Pat Reilly of Burlington, KY, Carmen and husband Dale Troy of Osgood, IN, Rodney Buckhart of Lexington, KY, Steven Buckhart of Cincinnati; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Glenateen enjoyed spending time with her family playing Yahtzee and going to the Casino. She enjoyed her swimming pool and gardening. She kept her flowers and rose bushes looking beautiful all spring and summer. She had a great sense of humor, a great smile and she was full of laughter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
