Gregory Scott Hancock, age 53, of Springfield Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 6, 1967 to Joseph and Toni Hancock (nee Maringer).
Greg graduated from La Salle High School. He was a Past Grand Knight and Navigator for the Madonna Knights of Columbus, belonged to the ELKO Assembly, and was a member of the Hilltoppers Car Club. He loved Hot Rods, Harley Davidson motorcycles, baseball, and collected many baseball cards and memorabilia over the years. Most of all he loved spending time with his son, Alex.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Hancock; grandparents, Ray Maringer, Maxine Maringer, Mary Hancock, and Bebee Hancock.
Greg is survived by his beloved son, Alex Hancock; parents, Toni Hancock and Joe Hancock; brothers, Brad Hancock, and John (Lisa) Hancock; his special aunt, Kathy Hoerst; many cousins; and mother of his son, Betty Hancock; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Gregory, contributions may be made to the Madonna Knights of Columbus in Mt. Healthy.
A Mass will be held at Church of the Assumption, 7711 Joseph St, Mt. Healthy, on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00AM with Rev. Fr. Earl K. Fernandes officiating.
