Grover Cleveland Watson, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born in Lawrence City , South Carolina on September 16, 1937 to Pharoah and Annie Bell Watson (nee Casey).
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his sister Barbara Ann Watson, his brother Joseph Watson and his niece Sherron S Watson-Berry.
Grover is survived by her beloved spouse of 55 years, Mildred Lee Watson (nee Ivey). Grover has one son, Robert Hart. He is survived by his sister, Dovie Williams. He also has a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was an Army Veteran. He was a contractor, working many years in the Netherland Hilton Hotel.
Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. A Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will follow at 12:30 pm at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
