Harla Oran Stamper, age 75, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on November 4, 1947 to Harley Frank Armstrong and Ora Virginia Armstrong (nee Glenn).
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eldon Petty, Carlos Petty, Connie Woodrum, and Lowell Petty.
Harla is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Virgil Ray Stamper; daughter, Michelle (Lonnie) McKinney; sons, Raymond (Tina) Stamper and Curtis (Jessica) Stamper; grandchildren, Chrissy Schulz, Emily Schulz, Zachary Schulz, Elizabeth Stamper, Elijah Stamper, Brandon Stamper, Caleb Stamper, and Lillie Stamper; siblings, Mary Beth (Mark) Sams and Frank (Barb) Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Caylin, Bryson, Lela, and Corbin; and a host of other family members and friends.
Harla enjoyed traveling to Vegas and going on cruises. She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandkids.
In loving memory of Harla, contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice.
Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 pm Friday, July 7, 2023 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 3920 Petersburg Road, Burlington, Kentucky 41005. Interment to follow at Bullittsburg Baptist Church Cemetery.
