Obituary
Harry Mabrey was born to the late Irene and Carlton Mabrey, the fifth of ten children in Covington, Kentucky, on October 9, 1943. Harry was called to be with our Lord and Savior on February 15, 2012.
Harry was baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church in Covington, Kentucky.
Harry was a member of the armed services, in both the Army and Navy with a total of 12 years of service between the two branches, going to Vietnam three times, once to relieve his brother from having to go. "NOW THAT'S BROTHERLY LOVE" Which made him known as "MY HERO" to his brother William.
Harry worked for W. R. Grace Chemical Company for thirty plus years, and retired in 2006 due to health issues.
Harry was a well known person who had a tremendous heart for children. HE NEVER MET A STRANGER.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Laura Alice Moshile; brothers, Carlton and Freddie Mabrey.
Harry leaves to cherish, not mourn his memory, four children, Harry Darnell Mabrey, Jr., Patrick Mabrey, Derrick Mabrey, and Tanya Mabrey, all of Cincinnati, OH; eight grandchildren; A very special companion, Kimberly "Kim" Martin; one sister, Deborah (Chip) Ruffin; five brothers, Edward Mabrey, Donald Mabrey, William (Debra) Mabrey, all of Cincinnati, OH, Eugene (Jackie) Mabrey of Brockton, MA, and Robert (Melda) Mabrey of the Philippines; special nephew Jimmy Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends who we know were honored to call him Uncle, Granddad and Friend.
