Helen Anita Hentenaar

HENTENAAR, Helen Anita age 85, of Springfield Township, passed away peacefully at her residence Tuesday, October 29, 2013. She was born October 3, 1928 in Beattyville, Kentucky, the daughter of Anderson and Mary (Turner) Rowland. She was a graduate of Beattyville High School. She attended Deaconnes College Of Nursing where she received her RN. On July 4, 1959, she married Theodorus Hentenaar, of Ede, Holland.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Mary Rowland, her siblings, Earl Rowland, Edward Rowland, Elbert Rowland, Amy Addison, and Ada Snow. Helen is survived by her husband, Theodorus Hentenaar; her children Tim Hentenaar of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ted and his wife Patricia Hentenaar of Atlanta, Georgia, Titus Hentenaar of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Tracy Hentenaar of San Diego, California; her grandchildren, Timothy, Ashley, Matthew, Alex, Ian, Billy, and Caitlyn; her brother Ernest and his wife Ann Rowland of Beattyville, Kentucky; and numerous other family members and friends.

Helen was an United States Air Force Veteran. She truly enjoyed working at the church and was proud of being a longtime member of New Burlington Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made New Burlington Church of Christ 1989 Struble Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.

She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her!
