Helen Ruth Lacey-Holman

Helen Ruth Lacey-Holman was born July 17th, 1931 to Ammie & Johnny Lacey in Brent, Alabama. She often talked about her time growing up in the South.
When she turned 18, she married Lucius Holman and together they had a son, Lee Holman. From there, Helen moved to Cincinnati and settled in the Winton Terrace area, working for the Frisch's Restaurants as a cook. During this time she birthed two children, Victor and Amy Holman. She also adopted/helped care for Ge'Nesha (Nesha) & Ben (Benjamin). Both held special places in her heart. She absolutely, without a doubt, loved all her children.
She worked at the Frisch's Restaurant located in Price Hill for over 20+ years, worked at the U.C. College House Kitchen, as well as Shuler's.
She was always happy to see and hear from all the nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cousins, and her friends. We all know she didn't always say much, she always listened and was willing to share the best words of wisdom.
Private services will be held for the family.
