Helen Marie Ferguson (nee Parris) passed away on June 15, 2012. She was born on March 25, 1940, the daughter of John Parris and Catherine Coulter. She found her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and later joined Tryed Stone New Beginning Church, where she remained a faithful member until her health failed.
She attended Cincinnati Public Schools from there she became gainfully employed. During her life Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. In her younger days, she enjoyed playing cards, bowling, traveling and crocheting. These latter years she enjoyed monthly luncheons with "the girls". She spent a lot of time that she was not working raising her children with good values, honesty, understanding, togetherness and the love of God.
She was employed by US Postal Services, Jim Beam (National Distillers) and Totes where she retired and leaves many friends.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Arthur W. Ferguson Jr. on March 25, 1959. To this union there were 6 children, 4 girls and 2 boys.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories children, Peaches (Lavell), Donna (Trammell), Dale (the late Larry), Darrin Sr. (Angie), Staci (Alonzo); sister, Doreatha Henry; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Catherine (Jerry) and special nephew, Dwayne (Priscilla). She also leaves to cherish "the girls" (Faye, Minnie, Barbara, Ollie, Diane). She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Darryl Ferguson, a grandson, Diondre Ferguson, Sr., and a dear friend, E. Allen.
The family takes solace in knowing that her departed loved ones are rejoicing at her "homecoming".
