H.O. Kyler Jr., age 86 of Colerain Township passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was born in Ashtown, Arkansas on November 14, 1926 the son of Harry Orrison and Alma (Alexander) Kyler Sr. H.O. was a retired production manager for Clippard Instrument Laboratory. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a member of the Cincinnati Cinder Sniffers. H.O. was a graduate of the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville and was an avid Razorback fan. On February 4, 1951 he was married to Merita Garrett.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Merita Kyler of Colerain Township; three children, Melody and her husband Phillip Duerr of Sherwood, Arkansas, Stephen Kyler and his wife Donna of Cincinnati, and Martha and her husband Byron Adkins of Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Diane Sample and her husband Shawn of Ozark, Missouri, Michael Kyler of Cincinnati, Kyle Duerr and his wife Brook of Maumelle, Arkansas, Kevin Kyler of Cincinnati, and Kari Ann and her husband Thomas Otts of West Monroe, Louisiana; four great-grandchildren, Nikoli, Jacob, Chairity, Colin and one on the way, Tobias; his cousin, Alma D. DeBisschop of Walnut Creek, California; and one brother-in-law, Stephen Garrett and his wife Deanna. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Eugene "Jack" Garrett.
