Hubert "Windy" Wendell Miller, age 81, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 20, 1939 to Hubert and Ruby Miller. Windy was a very friendly hardworking man who never met a stranger. He would always be willing to help a neighbor in need. He was a self proclaimed broadcasting and railroad enthusiast and even spent some of his life working as a TV and Radio host. Windy loved meeting up with the guys for coffee. He was a member of the American Legion Post #20 and was very proud of his service in the US Air Force where he honorably served for 20 years. Windy obtained the rank of SMSGT/E-8 serving mostly as a radio repairman/ recruiter. He was a man of Christian faith and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Erlanger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Vickie Miller, and sister, Brenda Harrison.
Hubert is survived by his beloved wife, Ivy Miller; children, Cari Miller, Necia (Frank) Grant, Michael Keith (Mary Jean) Hall, grandson, Michael Kent (Charity) Hall; great-granddaughter, Ana Hall; sister, Marilyn Bradford; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; and a host of other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Windy, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, Kentucky 41017 or Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
