Inell M. Thomas

Inell M. Thomas (Bishop, Mother), age 84 of Cincinnati passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 6, 1928 the daughter of John and Louise (Massie) Motley. She was a member of the Universal Church of Christ. In Birmingham, Alabama on May 17, 1946 she was married to Joseph H. Thomas.

She is survived by her husband Joseph H. Thomas of Cincinnati; seven children, Mary Howard of Cincinnati, Catherine Thomas of Cincinnati, Joseph Thomas Jr. and his wife Deborah of Charleston, West Virginia, Wanda Douglas of Middletown, Sue and her husband Willie Crawford of Cincinnati, Althea Riston of Cincinnati, and Gail Thomas of Cincinnati; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Edward Powell, Henry Powell, John Motley and Clarence Motley.

Funeral service will be held at the Peace Baptist Church, 652 Rockdale Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229, on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Bishop Paul Glenn officiating. Entombment will be held at the Vine Street Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM.
