Obituary

Inez Janell Ciers (nee Buntin) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, January 24, 1972 to Linda Buntin-Howard and the late Eugene Allen (Fella). Inez departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

Inez's greatest love was serving the Lord. She was a member of Hope for You Family Life and Worship Center, Inc. under the leadership of Bishop Larry Dempsey, Senior Pastor. She attended church faithfully until her health declined. When she couldn't attend church in person, she would live-stream the services to get her weekly dosage of the teaching of the Lord.

Inez, also known as Janell, was a 1990 Withrow High School graduate. She was an active member of Withrow's Tiger Pride and make no mistake about it – this Withrow Tiger truly had pride for her alma mater.

Inez received her B.A. in Liberal Arts and a Master's Degree in Education from Xavier University.

Inez pursued a career in Human Resources becoming a benefit's manager for the Argosy's Casino. She displayed the same level of love she had for the Lord to the employees with which she served. She went that extra mile to make sure that employee benefits were available when they were needed.

Inez was a Fashionista. She was a well dressed woman who considered herself a Diva. The class and style she had was displayed in every outfit she wore. She coordinated every piece of her clothing right down to the accessories.

Inez loved to take pictures, especially of herself. She had a smile that lit up a room. Her spare time was spent shopping, traveling and entertaining her friends and family. She would use any excuse to host a family gathering.

Inez leaves to cherish her memories: three children, Asya Buntin, Amani and Kaleb Ciers; her mother, Linda Buntin-Howard; one sister, Jaquetta Howard; two brothers, Rayshon and Kowon Howard; five aunts, Delores Buntin, Roberta Williams, Pat Benjamin, Linette Allen and Cora Lee; four uncles, Richard Buntin, Jr., Larry and Anthony Buntin and Cornell Allen; nieces and nephews, Marshay, Markia, Jayden and Jada Robertson, Sylvia Philpot, Denver and Dakota Howard and Kiela Coman; special cousin, Shanika Buntin, Dwayne Siler, Keyiana Benjamin, Valencia Williams and Darlene Ross; the entire family of Rayshon (step-father and John Howard; and a host of other friends and family.

During Inez's illness, she could not believe the love and support that was given to her. She had friends, face book buddies and family that stood with her to the bitter end. There are no words to describe these people; however, the family would like to personally thank these special friends. If your name is not mentioned, it's not because we didn't appreciate what you did. There were so many, it is impossible to recognize them all.

Special friend and honorary sister and brother, Cheryl Smith and Malik Bacon; along with other supporting family and friends, Tamara Franklin, Erica Bursey, Vera Kirk, Traci McKinney, Tammi , Lisa Behanan, the Engleman family, the Tiger Pride and many others. We thank you a thousand times over.
