Iomita Ioannes

Iomita Joannes, age 46, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1978, in Chuuk to Robert and Sophina Elias.

Iomita is survived by her loving husband, Linus Soumetau, and their cherished children: Eva, Lindsay, Lorry, Evans, and Lyia F. Soumetau. She was a proud grandmother to Elijah, Easton, and Ezaiyah Kikku. Iomita also leaves behind her dear siblings—Lino (Joyleen) Joannes, Las (Ervie) Joannes, and Vataly Raymon—as well as her niece, Virginia Raymond, and nephew, Bryan Raymond. She will be deeply missed by a host of family members and friends.

Iomita was preceded in death by her parents, Sophina and Robert Joannes.

A visitation will be held in her honor on April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
