Rice, Irene age 80, of West Chester, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on May 22, 1935 to Willie and Eller Ferrell (nee Collett).
She was preceded in death by her parents. Irene is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Homer Rice; sons, Jerry (Anita) Rice, Terry (Laurie) Rice, Randy (Kimberly) Rice; grandchildren, David (Courtney) Rice, James Rice, Steven Rice, Ryan Rice, Chelsea Rice, Taylor Rice, Christopher Rice; siblings, Mason Ferrell, Lita (Frank) Heck, Juanita Sharp; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Life Church – West Chester, 8480 Cincinnati Columbus Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
