Irma Francis Rich

Irma Francis (nee: Webb) Rich, age 86, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born in Kenton County, Kentucky on January 9, 1938 to the late Robert Marshall Webb and Mary Lucille Webb (nee Brown).

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and loving husband of 64 years, Charles Rich Sr. Irma is survived by her six children, Ralph (Betty) Simms, Carol Rodenberg, Michael Rich, Charles (Susan) Rich Jr., Lisa (John M.) Rich, and Joseph Rich; and 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and many other friends and family members.

Irma was a member of the Simon Kenton Class of 1956. She was an amazing singer from a young age who showed confidence among the older, experienced singers in her midst. She filled her home with music and love.

She went on to work at St. Elizabeth hospital in the bakery and then was promoted to work on the hospital floor. It was there where Irma discovered her true calling as a caregiver and her compassionate nature really took front stage.

Throughout her life, Irma's love extended not only to people but also to the many animals she welcomed into her heart. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her legacy of care and empathy will be remembered by those whose lives she touched and to the many who called her "Mom."

Because they were never far apart in life, a visitation and service for both Irma and Charles will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10:00-11:30am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
