Ivy Renee Walls

On August 6, 1960 the sun rose for Ivy Rene Walls also known as "Candy". Candy was born to the late Tom and Mary Walls. She left this world on June 11, 2011 while sleeping peacefully just as God would have it.

Ivy was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary L. Walls and her father Tom Walls. Also preceded in death by her precious eldest son, Brandon Walls.
Ivy accepted Christ at an early age and reaffirmed and rededicated her life to Jesus Christ in 2005, at Full Gospel Faith Fellowship. Candy attended Withrow High School in the late 1970's.

Candy's love shinned like the sunlight in all different directions. Candy took in many wounded and strays, from dogs to people. She was a great animal lover. Candy loved going to Church and Bible Study. She spent many hours loving and pampering her grandchildren. Candy had a hearty laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. People often asked why she had not aspired to be a comedian.

Candy leaves to cherish fond memories: her loving daughter Clara M. Walls and her loving son Tony Walls; two beautiful grandchildren Azura and Tobias; four sisters, Violetta Robertson (Nate) of Newburg, IN, Margennia Walls, Alma Davis and Twindolyn of Dayton; two brothers Andre Walls (Catherine), Thomas Jones Walls (Cindy); one great-aunt Byrdie Dudley; aunt Carolyn Harris, Lillian Wiles, Margaret Bomar; uncles Frank and Willie Mayo; a host of loving cousins and special friends. Candy was blessed with two close friends, Trina Turner and Annette Todd.
