Hyde, Jack Donald, age 95, of Withamsville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was born on December 31, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Virginia Hyde (nee Wynkoop).
Jack loved the study of genealogy, tracing his family tree back to the year 1062. He also loved history and chess.
Jack is a World War II veteran, having served in a Military Police Unit during that time.
He and Irene were longtime members of St. Michael's Church in Sharonville, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Irene Hyde (Cotnoir) and survived by his children, Andrea Dailey (Albert Scruggs), Theresa A. Hyde (Pat Weiland), Jeffrey (Robyn) Hyde, and Jacqueline (Greg) Durrett; his grandchildren Jason Hyde, Jamie (Nick) Chalfin, Julie (Jason) Slusher, Michael Testa, Andrew Testa, Rachel (Tommy) Bilbo, Ashley Davis, Jennifer (Rob) Knorr, Jessica Herzner, Kristi (Matt) Herald, Tracy (Justin) Jarboe, Matt (Barb) Durrett; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In loving memory of Jack and in lieu of flowers, his family has requested that contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. Services are pending.
