James "Barney" Barnes, 67, of Nashville, Tennessee formerly of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood.
He was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 26, 1951 to the late Kline and Marion Brendel-Barnes.
James is survived by his beloved sisters, Lois Foster and Judy (Tony) Brockman; and a host of friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 7, 2018 with a visitation from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Boone County High School - Baseball Athletic Department in his memory.
