AKINS, James D. age 73, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 17, 1941 to George Akins and Elva Michaels (nee Garland).
He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Akins (nee Jones); children, Donald J. (Jeannetta) Akins, Douglas J. Akins, Stephanie A. Esswein, Jeffrey S. Akins; grandchildren, Amanda Wallace, Brady Akins, Kasey Akins, Felicia Purvis, J. J. Purvis, Hannah Wells, Caleb Akins, Liam Akins; siblings, Loraine Clark, Gloria Wilson, Gene Akins; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
