On Friday morning June 27, 2014 James Edward Mayberry, wrote the final chapter of his life and went home to rest. James was the second child born to Mr. James Brown and Ms. Mary Mayberry, on October 9, 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
James completed his GED in 2006. He developed a passion for writing poetry and loved to read a potpourri of literature. He loved playing cards, playing video games, and going to bingo with his family. He was well known for his words of wisdom and his innate ability to make you laugh. He enjoyed joking and laughing with his family and being with his friends. He treated his best friends like brothers and cherished their close bond. James touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
His memories will be cherished by his beloved father James Edward Brown of San Antonio, Texas and his lovely mother, Mary Frances Mayberry of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Walter Hillman-Mayberry and Corey Mayberry of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Ja'Lysse Brown, Ja'Neisha Brown, and Ja'Carrie Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; 9 aunts, 5 uncles, 3 nieces, and a host of relatives and dear friends.
