James William Hayse, Jr.

James William Hayse, Jr., affectionately known as "Jimbo or Jimmy," was born on December 29, 1968, in Louisville, Kentucky. He passed away on February 9, 2025, in Florence, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

Jimbo's personality was characterized by his generosity and warmth. He was a hard worker who devoted his life to his family and community. Those who knew him will remember him for his love of storytelling; he always had a crazy story to tell about his life, as well as insightful advice for anyone who would listen. Whether he was engaging in deep conversations with family, friends, or even strangers, Jimmy had a remarkable ability to connect with people, sharing laughter and wisdom alike.

He had a profound impact on everyone who crossed his path, taking joy in spending time with his children and his beloved grandson, Elijah. Jimmy found pleasure in riding four-wheelers and exploring the lake alongside his son Jake. His hobbies reflected his love for adventure and making memories with his family.

Jimbo is survived by his mother, Linda Lou Coogle (nee Cheatham), his wife, Quinnette Hayse (nee Clark), his children: Steven Shane Michael Hayse (Haley Miller), Jacob Hayse, Melissa Hayse, Mackenzie Hayse, James Harvey, and Alexis Brockman, and his adored grandson, Elijah Hayse. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Billy Hayse; brothers Joseph (Paula) Hayse, Ronnie (Christy) Coogle, Kenny Barnes, Denny Barnes; sisters Rachel (David) Cortie, Melissa (Jeff) White, Sheryl Barnes; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Hayse, Sr.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Newcomer Funeral Home in Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018, for a visitation on February 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 6:00 PM.
